Christmas Gifts That Can't Be Wrapped
  • Buy extra pet food and donate it to the local animal shelter or vets practise.
  • Bake a cake or make biscuits and gift them to a neighbour or take to the office for everyone to share.
  • Go to a local nursing home and find out who doesn’t get any visitors or gifts and adopt a lonely older person.
  • Design and make beautiful bookmarks. You could hide them in books at your local library or gift to friends.
  • Give blood. https://www.blood.co.uk/

  • If there’s a home you pass regularly that does a great job of decorating the exterior for everyone to enjoy at Christmas, write them a note and say thanks for brightening up the day.
  • Hold a gift-wrapping party. Rolls of brown paper are much cheaper and more sustainable than gift wrap. You can decorate with stamps or basic printing techniques. Wrapping with friends is a fun way to hang out during this busy time.
  • Offer to babysit for someone so they can get some Christmas Shopping done.
  • Make a playlist and share it with your friend. Include all your old favourite songs that mean something to you both.
  • Make a Message Jar for a loved one. Keep and clean out a good-sized jar and on tiny slips of paper or post it notes, write out all the reasons why you love and appreciate that person. Tie the lid with a ribbon and gift them the jar at Christmas.
